In 1990, Garry formed his own firm with the focus of improving business performance for privately held companies.
Garry began his professional career with Price Waterhouse (now PricewaterhouseCoopers - PwC), spending five years in audit, tax, and management advisory service positions. He has worked in a variety of industries with an emphasis on manufacturing. He left Price Waterhouse at the manager level and spent the next nine years working as an executive in various industries.
In addition, Garry has:
- Served as an expert witness, court appointed arbitrator, receiver, and litigation team member in Superior Court cases
- Participated in Federal bankruptcy cases as an appointed accountant, interim CFO, and field agent

Garry holds a Bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Toledo. In addition to his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation (California - active; Ohio - active) he also is Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) and a Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Garry currently serves as the committee chairman of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, Channel Counties Chapter, Governmental Relations Committee. He is also chairman of the Conejo Valley CPA Discussion Group, Channel Counties Chapter of the California Society of CPAs.In addition, Garry has been awarded the California Society of Certified Public Accountants Distinguished Service Award. He also has taught construction accounting at California State University - Dominguez Hills from 2006 - 2017.
Garry truly enjoys the challenge of addressing and resolving business problems. He enthusiastically embraces technology and its business applications. Garry insists on his own continuous improvement as well as continuous improvement within his firm, and he brings this vision to his clients as well.
